Weather in Bogota: Rain

During the rainy season, the weather in Bogota can be pretty grim. Yesterday it rained so hard that the mountains completely disappeared!! This was followed by rivers of mud flowing down from the hills and much amusement watching people trying (and failing) to jump over the pools which had accumulated at the sides of the road!

Before the rain..

During the rain – on a rainy day in Bogota the mountains can literally disappear behind a wall of water!
